Please check local regulations for: Braken und Harselah
Location: Harsefeld, Stade, Lower Saxony, Germany
The NSG is located in the natural area Zevener Geest on a Geest hill. The Braken is the source of several streams. The locations of this large forest area are mainly dewy until awestruck, z.T. Also heavily humid and well nutrient-supplied boulder clay, the z.T. are overlaid with sand. The lowland of the Brakenbach is very heavily influenced by groundwater. In the southeast, the foothills of the Bald Moor reach into the Braken. The relatively natural forest stands mainly include the following forest communities: oak-hornbeam forest, Hainsimsen-Buchenwald, Waldmeister-Buchenwald, Atlantic acid beech forest with undergrowth of holly and yew, alluvial forest with alder and ash and moorland. The Braken is a historically ancient forest location. Numerous rare and endangered plant species occur in the area.

Nice, easy to drive ways in the forest. Also good to drive in midsummer.

A well-navigable path in a pristine forest area, which cools you down in summer temperatures. There is the bird concert on top.
