Tips
The ascent to the hut from Leogang is the shortest ascent from the south. Surefootedness and a head for heights are an absolute must here, because the path leads, especially in the upper part, over secured trails with sometimes steep ascent. If you want to enjoy the wonderful view, it is always better to stop and take a moment than lose sight of the path and stumble. Safety first!

Beautiful and challenging climb. Sturdy shoes, plenty of water and sun protection are important. The challenging sections are almost all secured with ropes. You should not be afraid of heights and be sure-footed. The climb is rewarded with a great panoramic view
