The cathedral was built in a perfect location. It is visible from all directions - and it is beautiful! Right next door is Haus Altenrath, which serves delicious Päffgen Kölsch. Unfortunately, it is only open from 5 p.m. on weekdays.

Hiking

St. Mary's Visitation is a Roman Catholic pilgrimage church to Marialinden. As builders of the church are around 1516, the lords of Wylich called Grossenbernsau. In 1897/1898, according to the plans of the Cologne architect Theodor Kremer, the Gothic nave was extended by a yoke and given a neo-Gothic two-tower facade in the west.
