Great ride up from Redmire through to the top of the moor past Army shooting ranges. Very quiet and great scenery especially early in the morning. Nice quick downhill into Grinton where there is a great bike shop with coffee stop.

Easy climb over into Swaledale. Harder on the return. Runs along the military firing range, if you like the sound of gunfire... Great descent into Grinton.

Would recommend, I did this climb on a 40km loop and my legs will never forgive me however the views from the top were extraordinary
