The Maxbrücke, formerly called the Stone Bridge, spans the Pegnitz between Maxplatz and Unschlittplatz. It is the oldest solid stone bridge within the city of Nuremberg. It was completed in 1457 by builder Jakob Grimm from Rothenburg o.d.T. From the bridge you have a great view of the executioner's bridge and the chain bridge.

Nuremberg is worth a trip. The old town in particular is very beautiful and can score with beautiful half-timbered buildings.
