The Celts were once resident in the region. To commemorate this time, artists have created many impressive sculptures along the hiking trails. If you are more interested in history, then it is worth taking a detour to the Celtic village in Otzenhausen.

Hiking

"Artists from former Celtic settlement areas have created an impressive overall work of art over a distance of seven kilometers. A total of 18 sculptures, from abstract representations to meter-high depictions of gods, are installed on the route from the European Academy to the Otzenhausen ring wall. The Celtic ring wall is considered one of the most powerful archaeological monuments in Germany."
