"Haus Oefte (Uvithi) is mentioned in documents around 820. In the Middle Ages, the Oefte knight's seat was a fiefdom of the Werden imperial abbey and passed to the Counts von der Schulenburg at the beginning of the 19th century. They had the complex rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style Facility used by a golf club.

She was killed by her husband, Ritter Eberhard von Oefte, and Arminia, who had fled to Oefte after the destruction of Lüttelnau Castle (Kattenturm).
