The Dom Hut is the starting point for the ascent of the Dom, the highest mountain located entirely on Swiss soil (4,546 m). From here, you first ascend over the moraine and then the exposed glacier to the Festijoch Pass. At the top of the pass, the route forks into the normal route and the Festigrat.
