The leaning tower of the unfinished church is one of the landmarks of the Frisian city.
The tower was already leaning during construction work almost 500 years ago. All attempts to make the tower vertical failed. Despite this, the building was not demolished and is still accessible today.
Incidentally, it is more crooked than its famous counterpart in Pisa.
