The high rolling tower, which was built from 1991 to 1992 from wood, is 33 m high. He is freely accessible. After overcoming the 180 steps to the highest viewing platform you have a good view in almost all directions: From there you look north to the Weser Mountains. To the east, the view is obstructed by the summit of Moosbergs, to the south you can see, inter alia, Reinhards and Bramwald. Looking west, you can see the Eggegebirge, where you can see the Hermannsdenkmal, and to the northwest, you can see the pretty Köterberg.
From one of the highest points of Sollings you can enjoy a beautiful view over the forests of the Hochsolling. At 510 meters above sea level on the edge of the Moosberg summit stands the tower. Especially in the evening, when the sun sets behind the Köterberg in the west, it is worth visiting this very imposing, 33-meter high wooden tower.
