In the section where there is a side street (between Stößensee and Theodor Heuss Platz), the Heerstraße is easy to ride on the road bike. However, you should drive as far to the left as there are always many cars parked on the right, which often open doors or simply be parked. Between Wilhelmstadt and Stößensee there is a nasty bike path that has not been maintained for years. This section is not recommended
