The Riedberg Pass is Germany's highest passable pass. From fish, the Riedberg Pass is one of the toughest passes in Germany with ramps of more than 16 percent and continuously over twelve percent.

The Riedberg pass from Fischen is already a crisp climb - although "only" 600 meters, but the up to 16% steep ramps are already an announcement.

It is a nice and crisp pass with a height of 1407 m, but there is still a higher and namely the Roßfeld-Höhenringstraße (1560 m) at Berchtesgaden.

A nice, crisp, but manageable climb - only the traffic, especially the many motorcyclists were a disaster !!! By cutting the bends, it was sometimes really dangerous and unfortunately reduced the joy of starting ...

Would recommend the neighboring Rohrmoospass as an alternative - no cars, very pleasant slope, good asphalt.

Great landscape, new surface, a few tourists who drive up to hike, but ..... just steep, at the top 16% and over a longer period of time. The 6/7% in the middle part feel really flat.

Very steep descent, you are almost permanently on the brakes. Road surface is great! A good alternative would be the Rohrmoos Pass!

I drove up from Obermeiselstein and at the start you get the 16% note - awesome 😜
Apart from the many motorcyclists, it was still very easy to drive.
But next time I won't pick a day with 30 degrees because the sun is beating down the entire route - no shade! Brutal 🥵
