A very nicely composed premium path with a high proportion of paths, which also has really quiet sections. Very nice views and diverse forest await you on this path. From the Hohe Süss you can see a Monte Kali in the distance (overburden heaps from the potash salt mining near Heringen). Since around 1300, Tannenberg Castle and the von Baumbach family have shaped the history of Nentershausen and the surrounding area. The old core castle, the old farm yard and a number of remains of the wall have largely been preserved.
