Breeser Grund Heathland

The Breeser Grund is a former hut forest and a beautiful heathland area, in the middle of the Göhrde state forest. The path through the Breeser Grund consists partly of very soft sand and therefore not so easy to drive on by bike (but is quite normal in heather areas).Since the Breeser Grund is advertised here for "dog scooter riding", it should also be noted that the Breeser Grund is a nature reserve, besides roe deer, etc. there is also the possibility of meeting wolves. Dogs must therefore be kept on a leash, especially during the breeding, setting and rearing season from April 1st to July 15th!

When the heather is in bloom, it is most beautiful here (in the Breeser Grund)! One of my favorite places in Wendland, due to the heathland and the large, old (partly dry) oaks, the Breeser Grund looks really magical.
