The hunting lodge 🏰 Diana was first mentioned in writing in 1742. At that time it had been the residence of the Lords of Kolowrat for decades. In 1943 ownership of the castle was transferred to the German Reich. After the end of the Second World War in 1945, the castle was returned to Count Jindřich Kolowrat-Krakowský. When Czechoslovakia became communist after the February coup in 1948, the Diana hunting lodge was expropriated, nationalized and, from 1960, used as a retirement home. In 1992 it was returned to its owner, Count Jindřich Kolowrat-Krakowský, who was now over ninety years old. He died ✝️ 1996. Since when it has been empty I don't know.
The settlement near the castle, the surrounding region of the Kolowrat forests and the hunting grounds with a wildlife park and mouflon breeding area also bear the name Diana.

The first mention of the classicist hunting lodge dates back to 1742. It was built according to the design of the architect Jan Blažej Santini. After 1948 the castle was nationalized and served as a retirement home. Since 1992 it has been owned by the descendants of the original owners, who have begun a gradual reconstruction.
The building has the plan of an isosceles cross with a dome crowned by a seated metal deer. The interior is decorated with paintings and frescoes of Diana, the goddess of the hunt.
The castle is surrounded by a large English park with exotic tree species.

Building completely finished and therefore not accessible. Renovation still does not exist.
