Simple hall building in timber frame construction as a standard building by the architect Otto Bartning as part of the church program of the Evangelisches Hilfswerk initially built in 1949/50 in Steinfeld in the district of Vechta. Dismantled in 1981 and rebuilt a year later on the grounds of the Evangelical youth and leisure center in Ahlhorn. At the beginning of the 1990s, a new organ was ordered from a Dutch organ builder and installed, and a bell tower for two bells was built in the immediate vicinity of the access road.
