Sand dunes, heathland and moors were used to create 54 ponds with 200 hectares of water until the early 1930s. Today, about 35 ponds are operated with 120 hectares. The close-to-nature rearing of healthy and resistant fish takes place with the experience of over one hundred years of farming.
