Beautiful mountain classification with a moderate slope - the goal - the church of Hohenschäftlarn you have in the last part always in mind. The last meters are still quite poisonous, because it is in two digits.

An absolute must! Ideal preparation for driving passports! Not too steep, but steep enough to get up to speed!

  • Reason for life for Munich! Who can manage the segment under 4 minutes? With 5% on average, the increase in itself is moderate and relatively easy to master. Even after a longer tour. When attacking the 3.xx minutes threatens respiratory distress.

Slope to drive well. On nice weekends you have to expect increased excursion traffic, but still recommended.

Pleasant slope in the forest. Small "Passtraßen feeling" for the Munich.

Is also uphill to drive well. On nice weekends you have to expect a lot of traffic.

Good opportunity for a stop to recharge your batteries. The beer garden does not always open. It's not really my cup of gear to sit at covered tables in racing bike clothes.

The first Isar bridge is located south of Munich at Schäftlarn Abbey. This is why most short road bike trips from Munich that want to install at least one relevant ramp from high bank to high bank go past here. The climb is nicely shaded under trees with a few hairpin bends. A special highlight: In the second bend a mischievous graffiti, with which the current last Abi year greets. This section turns towards Ebenhausen. There, the climb remains somewhat stronger than after Hohenschäftlarn.

The monastery itself is a highlight enough, but the climb up to Hohenschäftlarn gives rise to Tour-de-France feeling ;-)

At the end of the school year, the high school graduates of the Schäftlarn monastery high school have been creating a new graffiti on the concrete wall on the street at Klosterberg for many years.

I like it a lot too - not too long but with a moderate incline. Drive about 18 km / h - no idea whether that is good or bad.
