On the extensive, saddle-shaped summit of the Hochwald you can find two mining villages. Here on the southern summit is directly on the Czech border the Hochwaldbaude. From the terrace you have a fantastic view of the bohemian part of the Lusatian Mountains, while you reward yourself with a delicious meal for the ascent. In addition to the beautiful dining room, there are also simple double rooms, quadruple rooms and even a dormitory available. The cottage is open all year round, only in the winter months, the doors were closed on Thursdays.
