The main market is dominated by the town hall built in 1876 in neo-renaissance style. That alone is an eye-catcher.

The ensemble is complemented by the very decorative Diana fountain.
The fountain, crowned with the Greek goddess of the hunt, was inaugurated in 1916 as a reminder of the parforce hunts in the Großenhain corridors.
