Austriahütte & Alpine Museum on the Dachstein

Alpine club hut on the Dachstein. Ideal as accommodation for the Dachstein circuit. The Alpine Museum is located directly in the building and shows, among other things, the history of the Dachstein ascent.

The Austriahütte offers good opportunities for hikes and tours around the Dachstein in summer and winter.
As the starting point for the Dachstein hut tour as well as many ski tours and snowshoe hikes, it is a real base camp on the Dachstein in the style of a well-tended accommodation for nature lovers.
Summer and winter tours can be found on Alpenvereinaktiv.
Also recommended is the Alpine Museum on the hut, which introduces the history of the Dachstein.
