    Hiking

Fantastic location at the foot of the Dachstein and not as crowded as some other huts here. Absolutely rustic and recommended. For horse and donkey lovers, there are usually a few mares and a lonely donkey just around the corner. ;-) They are always happy to have company!

    Hiking

On the Walcheralm you must try the homemade alpine cheese or take it home with you.

The freshly made fresh cheese with garlic is the absolute highlight on the Almbrettl! Unfortunately also the only cheese that is not sold to take away as it should only be eaten fresh!
