July 18, 2020
On the fountain, the Bishop of Worms and the Elector Palatine face each other, the Bishop defensive, defending his rights, the Elector bold and demanding, aware of his superiority. On August 26, 1385, Elector Rupert I forced the Bishop of Worms, Eckhardt von Dersch, to recognize the so-called condominium, i.e., the joint rule of the Elector Palatine in Ladenburg.
