The parish and pilgrimage church of St. Corona with its mighty tower is one of the most important church buildings in the district. The late Gothic church building was probably completed around 1490. The neo-Gothic furnishings have been preserved, but the late Gothic figures, which are assigned to a school successor to Hans Leinberger, are particularly noteworthy. Remnants of late Gothic wall paintings and red inscriptions are also still preserved. The beautiful lily fittings on the sacristy door and the north portal are also from the Gothic period.
The veneration of St. Corona reached its peak in Eastern Bavaria and Austria in the 15th century, which may also have been the reason for the church being built between 1481 and 1488.

The St. Corona has been in the parish u. Staudach pilgrimage church venerated. The name Corona, from Latin, means: "The Crowned". The feast day of the saints is celebrated on May 14th. The veneration of St. Corona is widespread in Vienna. The Austrian coin unit was therefore called "Krone" until 1924. So Corona became the patroness of the treasure hunters, who was also called in case of epidemics and storms. In addition, the saint is responsible for steadfastness in faith and for money matters. The tomb of St. Corona is located in the basilica of St. Viktor and Corona near Feltre in the northern Italian region of Veneto. That was the first region that was cordoned off in spring 2020 due to the spread of the "Corona virus".

Very impressive church, both the brick building with the vicarage next to it and the interior of the church are worth seeing.
