This panoramic point is located within the Punta Aderci Regional Nature Reserve along one of the most spectacular stretches of the entire Via Verde of the Costa del Trabocchi. Here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the Punta Aderci beach and the homonymous trabocco. To reach the viewpoint it is necessary to take a small detour from the main route and take a dirt road with a very compact surface that can be traveled on with any type of bike.

Section that will be crossed by the future Via Verde Costa dei Trabocchi cycle path. At the moment it is on a white stony dirt road and connects the Visitor Center of the Reserve with the Punta Aderci Reserve, passing through the beaches of Mottagrossa and Libertini, until the exit on the Casalbordino Lido seafront at the Hotel Poker after 7 km.

Yesterday we walked the entire Via Verde Costa dei Trabocchi, from San Salvo to Ortona, for a total of 50 km.
The route is of an overwhelming beauty, but the indications for the route disappear dramatically. We rebuilt the path by asking the locals, and were lucky to always find the right people who knew how to help us.
My track will therefore be a precious help to all those who want to undertake the path with the certainty of not getting lost. It is advisable to refer to the return track (from Ortona to San Salvo) because on the way to Vasto we made a mistake, leaving the cycle path for the seafront and then being forced to take a piece of the SS16 state road to return to the same cycle path.
The cycle path is entirely passable with any type of bike (I had a racing bike), apart from a small stretch of about 2 km (on the outward journey, you can find it between km 29.5 and 31.5), which currently it is nearing completion, and with its pebbly ground it can only be traveled with mountain bikes, suitable tires and a sporty pace.
The route also includes other unpaved parts (for example the one that leads to Punta Aderci), but the latter are in good condition and can be traveled on with any type of bike
