About Emiliano Manzan

Born and raised in Rome, I had the chance to travel often and to spend my spare time outdoors, which I continue to do to this day.I have been pedalling since I was a kid, and it turned into a real passion during my studies, when I used to share every single weekend with some crazy mates riding around central Italy.Have a background in mechanical engineering but managed to escape the rat race and turn my passion for cycling into a job: I am now an Official Collection Editor at Komoot and a MTB Instructor/Guide.Besides cycling, I love any other outdoor sport such as hiking, ski mountaineering, sailing, scuba diving and swimming.I moved to Finale Ligure in 2021, where with the sea in front and the mountains behind I can finally feed my thirst for the outdoors.

    1. This Tour is the most demanding of the Collection, both in terms of height difference and the mileage you will have to face. The initial stretch that leads from San Candido to Moos is quite flat, but shortly after the old military road that goes up to Col Quaternà is decidedly demanding. At the top

This tour begins with a relaxing ride along a stretch of the splendid Drava cycle path, which follows the course of the river of the same name, connecting Italy, Austria and Slovenia in its entirety. But don't let these first flat kilometers fool you. The climb that leads from Sillian to the Sillianer

    1. This Tour will slowly let you enter the spirit of the Stoneman Dolomiti. Which doesn't mean it won't challenge you, as you'll be tackling around 1,500 meters of positive elevation gain. After all, you are always in the Dolomites! However, these are distributed over a single relatively gentle, albeit

    1. The third and final stage of the Maritime Alps cycle route is undoubtedly the hardest, also considering the fatigue accumulated from the previous stages. Although it is a few kilometers shorter than the previous ones, it requires a trained leg (if not to push the bike in some sections) due to the steep
