Tips

  • Martin Schreiner

Small alpine hut with a great terrace just before the Pfitscher Joch in the Zamser Grund.

The Alm is farmed in the summer months. There you can not only enjoy delicious food, but also rewarded with a great view of the Pfitscherjoch.

After the long ascent from the Zamser Tal, a break at the Lavitz-Alm comes just right.

super rustic and really nice hut. A stop is always worthwhile. Especially in bad weather.

From the Schlegeis reservoir through the Zamsertal, a hike to the Lavitzalm is definitely worth it. Totally nice climb, I was amazed because of the impressive rock and river landscape.
The Lavitzalm is at an altitude of 2,083 m and the Kaiserschmarrn tastes twice as good in the rustic hut.
