After the long ascent from the Zamser Tal, a break at the Lavitz-Alm comes just right.

super rustic and really nice hut. A stop is always worthwhile. Especially in bad weather.

From the Schlegeis reservoir through the Zamsertal, a hike to the Lavitzalm is definitely worth it. Totally nice climb, I was amazed by the impressive rock and river landscape.
The Lavitzalm is at 2,083 m and the Kaiserschmarrn tastes even better in the rustic hut.
