In addition to the themed routes, Ammerland is now using the junction system, which allows for great flexibility in route planning. Following the Dutch model, new signs, information boards, and junctions have been installed throughout the district.
"Cycling by Numbers"
Starting in spring 2021, you can reach your desired destinations on a network of 738 kilometers using various routes, which can be individually planned by linking junctions! At each junction, there is an overview map showing the nearest junctions. Using this information, tours can be quickly planned and easily shortened, extended, or varied.
