The Hengstford Mill is a windmill in the Hengstforde farming community in the municipality of Apen. The mill and the adjacent miller's house are still used for commercial purposes today. Residents of the municipality of Apen can get married there, and the miller's house now houses the "Landgasthof Hengstforder Mühle" restaurant. The Hengstford Mill is located directly on the Aper Tief and is in the immediate vicinity of the Hengstforde outdoor pool, the only outdoor pool in the municipality of Apen.

A wonderfully restored windmill. I was allowed to climb up to the roof and admire the very large gears. There is a nice cafe with a great garden at the bottom of the mill.
