The herb path (length 3.75 km) runs in about 1.5 hours through the charming vineyards of Amoltern. 17 boards provide you with information on the history and healing effects of the herbs native to paths and embankments. The circular route leads via the shady Pfarrwaldweg up to the oldest nature reserve on the Kaiserstuhl, the "Amolterer Heide" (329 m above sea level). On the gentle descent over the "Luginsland" your gaze wanders into the distance to the Vosges and over the orchards of the northern Kaiserstuhl foothills. After attractive ravines, the path leads slightly above the village through the cleared vineyards of the "Halte" to the center of the village and to the starting point at the cemetery. A cross-connection to the Königschaffhausen fruit trail is signposted halfway through the circuit.
