Beautiful old watermill with super bad waterwheel. According to legend, it was built by the devil.

The legend of the devil millThe miller wanted to build the mill and had no money. Thoughtfully, he went for a walk in the Oberwald. There he met a strange man. They started talking, and the stranger asked why the miller was so thoughtful. The miller confided his concerns to the friendly hiker, who promised to get the money for him. The miller was delighted, and everyone went his way. On leaving the miller noticed that the stranger had a horse foot. Now he knew who he was dealing with. After a while, the miller was supposed to repay part of the money, but he did not have one, and the construction of the house was not far off. So it came to a bet between the two. Everyone wanted to build a pediment, and whoever finished first had won. The devil took the lower gable, the miller the upper one. When both were done, they saw that the devil had built faster and more beautiful. The lower gable is decorated with ornate trusses, and at the top of the rooftop are four blind windows, through which the devil is extended and retracted. When you come to the Devil's Mill, one of these windows is always open. Thus, the devil had won the bet, the miller trembled for his life. The legend says that the devil tore the miller in the air over the Crainfelder field. Since that time the Hansenmühle is called Teufelsmühle.
