Around the fountain there are, as we know, 4 figures that stand for the different winds (borrowed from ancient mythology) for the gods: Boreas of the biting north wind, Zephyros of the mild west wind, Notos of the humid and warm south wind and Euros of the hot east wind. Seen from the optics, it is obvious that the one who has been put on a "funnel" / tuba and has a kind of "rattle" in his mouth is the "most harmless" among them! The one on the opposite side for it - the wind and roar (from 5 pipes) apparently represents the other side of it all. They are funny characters who (probably) use their musical instruments to “compete” for “atmosphere”.

The four winds, it was created by the sculptor and graphic artist Kurt Sandweg (born October 17, 1927 in Düsseldorf - November 18, 2008 in Duisburg).

Dülken has a very picturesque inner city, which, however, is increasingly suffering from desertification due to the increasing vacancy.
