Tips
  • Sebastian Kowalke

At 1,091 metres, Puig l'Ofre is one of the ten highest peaks in Mallorca. From its narrow peak you can enjoy a fantastic panorama. To the north, Puig Major rises above the Cúber and Gorg Blau reservoirs; to the east, you can see the unique mountains of Puig de s'Alcadena and Puig d'Alaró; to the west, the valley of Sóller; and to the south, you can see as far as Palma.

  • The ascent is sometimes difficult to recognize and requires sure-footedness. However, the view from the summit is well worth it. You will be rewarded with a great all-round view of the northern and southern mountain range.

  • Nice view to Port de Sóller and the Tramuntana. The ascent from the trail does not seem obvious to some: it is on the right side of the Puig de na Franquesa. Short, lightweight climbing insert.

  • When the weather is good, a hike over Sa Rateta, Na Franquesa and l'Ofre offers a magnificent view of the surrounding mountains. Good surefootedness is absolutely necessary up here.

  • The Puig de l`Ofre is part of a triple formation of three peaks of over 1,000 m, namely the Puig de sa Rateta, the Puig de na Franquesa and the Puig de l`Ofre. Accordingly, the views from the peaks of the surrounding landscape are fantastic.

  • Nice view and quite lonely in May. You can really relax and enjoy the views.

  • The descent is not recommended! We had to break off and look for an alternative way. Nevertheless, we found the ascent easy and easy to master. A great hike, a great view, but the descent is really bad!

  • Super all around - panorama. Ascent and descent can be done in different ways.
In the upper area the path is marked only by cairns, in the summit construction short, easy Kraxelei over the rocks required,

  • An absolute beautiful view from the top of the mountains. It could be windy at the top and you should check weather before hiking

  • Very nice summit with some easy climbing units. But doable with good shoes. But please go the tour with a GPS and use the cairns as a guide. 😀

  • You should bring sure-footedness if you want to go up here. The path is sometimes good and sometimes bad. No signs, but the cairns show the way. Took a wrong turn once, otherwise it was obvious. At the top I would rate the stone slabs as a danger in wet weather - quite doable in dry weather.
The view is fantastic and makes up for everything!

  • The peak of l'Ofre belongs to the triple formation of the three peaks of more than 1000 meters of Tramuntana. The descent is quite technical but you will be rewarded by some fantastic views.
