The Similaunhütte is an Alpine refuge and is located on the Niederjoch in the Schnalskamm of the Ötztal Alps, which represents the border between the Austrian North Tyrol and the Italian South Tyrol. The hut is located near the border on Italian territory in the Texel Group Nature Park. The hut is private, but operated like an Alpine club hut.
