The Batterteiche - the oldest tree in the Baden Baden district. Only a few meters below the upper Batterthütte, on the descent along the rock path, there is an impressive tree on the Battertfelsen. The Batterteiche, a tree classified as a natural monument, is around 600 years old and is the oldest tree in the Baden Baden district. The tree stands at a height of approx. 550 meters above sea level and the massive, ancient oak even withstood the Lothar storm in 1999 without damage.
