The summit of this ridge reaches 393m and offers outstanding panoramic views of the River Usk, the Black Mountains and Llangorse Lake.

You get some of the best views of the Usk Valley from here, with views all along this beautiful fertile valley all the way to Brecon. The views across to Talybont-on-Usk and the surrounding hills adds to the ambience of this lovely valley view. The summit here is also the location of an Iron Age fort, so it is a lovely spot to come for a picnic.

I normally do this one as a 22km loop along with Mynydd Troed and Mynydd Llangorse. The loop gives you fantastic views of the Brecon Beacons and of course Llangorse Lake. For details of the route click here: komoot.com/tour/252226991
