Vorderötscher Mountain Lodge

The Vorderötscher Mountain Hut was stylishly renovated in 2014 and, despite modern touches, hasn't lost its old, rustic charm—after all, it's been here, at the end of the Ötscher Valley, since time immemorial. Hungry hikers are served local delicacies by the friendly hosts and can truly indulge on the terrace.

Had a single room with a dog, a proud 50.-, a towel has to be paid extra for a shower in the hallway (with waiting time), there were no keys in the rooms - very rustic - but I have to positively mention that I booked for 2 nights had and because of illness in the family only used one - I was not charged - thumbs up !!!
With a dog it was an adventure again, because of the many cows that graze around the shelter!
