Gothic hall church. It was built according to a note in the Lüner church book in 1258 and named after John the Baptist.
In the 16th century, a wooden half-timbered bridal house was added to the longitudinal south wall, which is crowned by a wooden, six-sided roof turret, in which there is a church bell cast in 1631. In the middle of the 19th century the chapel was only rarely used. However, it was thoroughly repaired in 1846.
