A beautiful valley with many possibilities - Tauernhaus, Warnsdorfer Hütte, Richter Hütte, Plauener Hütte. Almost every hut can be reached in a day trip. This means that tours can be planned very flexibly. On historical paths through the Krimmler Achental it is even possible to cross into South Tyrol. In 1947, around 5,000 Eastern European Jews used this escape route to get to Palestine via Italy. The Peace Trail was set up in memory of this and starts directly at the Tauernhaus.
