The houses in Kolding Miniby illustrate the urban environment in Kolding from 1860 to 1870. Many locals will nod in recognition of the small houses, which were built in a 1:10 ratio.
The pearl of the exhibition is, of course, Koldinghus, the old royal castle, which helped to create the basis for the city of Kolding as early as the 13th century.
In the years 1860-1870 around 700 small and large houses were built.
In 1996, when the association was founded, pensioners and early retirees built over 400 of the houses, most of which are still on display in Chr.
The Kolding Miniby is open to the public from March 23 to September 30. Visitors to the Geographical Garden have the opportunity to complement their visit with a trip through Kolding that took place between 1060 and 1870.
Entrance is only possible from the Geografisk Have side.
