The Sonneck forge in Ybbsitz on Eisenstrasse at the beginning of the forging mile was acquired by Emanuel Sonneck in 1875.
Emanuel Sonneck initially only produced hoop knives, later also pliers and chisels.
Today, construction, forestry and garden tools as well as clamps, ice scrapers, snow shovels and snow blowers are manufactured.
