The corner house on Badstrasse / Travemünder Strasse was built as a residential and commercial building in 1892 - 1893 by Carl Galuschki, who bought the site of the former Luisenbad in 1885. The building known as the Luisenhaus is reminiscent of the healing spring that dried up at the end of the 19th century and gave the Gesundbrunnen district its name.
