A nice little lake as a nature reserve. At the point here with a bench and a view of the lake. Bathing is not allowed because of the shallows and nature conservation.

The Heidesee lies in a kind of cauldron or a pit. He is a remnant of the former gravel quarrying at this point. The slopes of the lake are quite steep and the paths are made of sand and boulders. Not easy for physically challenged people to deal with. The lake is nice to look at.
