The town church “Holy Trinity” is the oldest building in the city of Bayreuth.
For more than 800 years, the Christian community in downtown Bayreuth has been gathering for worship in the “Holy Trinity” city church. Since the Reformation, it has been the main Protestant church of the Margraviate of Bayreuth and the burial place of the Bayreuth margraves and their families.

The Holy Trinity Church in Bayreuth is a three-aisled Protestant basilica in the late Gothic style and the largest church in the city. A very beautiful building, inside and out. Highly recommended. It is located on the edge of the pedestrian zone and can be reached in many ways.
