Here the Duchess of Württemberg, Dorothea Friederike Sophie von Brandenburg, had a hermit detention facility with wooden turrets and bell built, called the “Chapel in the Wood”. Emigrants from the French Revolution helped with the construction, hence the name "Franzosenbruck". A rock arch made of sandstone blocks is still preserved.
