The old mill has been restored and is now operational again. With hydropower, the old machine technology can be used again for grinding grain. In the associated mill shop with Backhaus you can enjoy home-baked bread, which was baked with flour from the mill.

After grinding grain into flour for several centuries in the Pfeiffer mill Buchfart, the mill fell from 1968 into a slumber.
About 40 years later, enthusiasts set to work to restore this built witness of ancient craftsmanship. They rehabilitated the buildings, renewed the mill technology (power generator, new gearbox) and set up a meeting place for the old miller trade. Source: ausflugsziele-weimar.de/muehle-buchfart
