Hiking
Detour to "Iceland's ear 👂 to the world" and the station is still active today. The drive over the narrow gravel track through the remains of the high snow fields is mega and the view is breathtaking 👍☀️😎.
Once at the top, the view cannot be put into words - unbelievable, simply unbelievably beautiful. The Westfjords are a pure natural paradise.
On top there is a hiking trail for the tough. Whoever wants can also run out 😎👍

Hiking
With us the road was still closed, so we hiked the last 3.5 km on the gravel road, with a very strong wind. Great prospects. Northernmost road in all of Iceland.
When you come up, the radar station is on the right in the back, and on the left in the back is the Bolafjall viewpoint (so there are 2 separate highlights here).
Definitely highly recommended!
