To the south the karst plateau up to Socerb (S. Servolo) and to mount Slavnik (Taiano). To the west the Adriatic Sea with the mouth of the Isonzo, Grado and Barbana. To the east the Nanos, a little further to the left the Čaven and the Ternova plateau (Trnovo)

Running
The church was built in 1512 and remodeled in 1750. It was restored in the 18th century, the period in which the bell tower was also built (dated 1802). In 2012 it received the qualifications of archpriest church and diocesan sanctuary.
