Kasteel Walburg (also: Kasteel Walborgh) was a castle in Ohé en Laak on the way to Walborgh directly on the banks of the Meuse.

This castle was built by Count Hermann Frederik Van den Bergh around 1632 after the original Stevensweert Castle was in the Stevensweert fortifications in 1633. In 1719 Count Reinier Vincent van Hompesch expanded the castle into a luxurious residence with gardens and a farm. This count bought the castle and also the sweets Stevensweert and Ohé en Laak from the owner at the time, Count Philips Willem Frans van Limburg Stirum. It consisted of three U-shaped wings and a stable for 24 horses.

After 1914, when the last resident died, the castle fell into disrepair and became a ruin after the Second World War, the last remains of which were demolished in 1992. Only one cellar has been preserved. The stones from the ruin were reused in the 'De Ruïne' banquet hall of the 'Cafe Bongaarts'.

A model of this castle and a number of objects from its interior are in the Streekmuseum Stevensweert / Ohé en Laak in Stevensweert.

April only on Saturdays and Sundays, from May to Sep/Oct an electric bicycle ferry runs daily here and saves the detour over the bridge. I even lost my way because of a road block.

Here you can visit the "lost castle". I wouldn't take a detour for it.
