This remarkable brick wall protrudes at the entrance to the Danube promenade. The remains of the "Upper Danube Bastion" of the Dürschen fortification from 1527 were later razed by Napoleon's troops. The bastion got its name "Wilhelmshöhe" after a guest house in the fishing district. The small climb is worth it, because from here you have a wonderful overview of the small houses in the fishing district with a view of Ulm Minster.

The feel and touch garden is further west.
Here on the former bastion it's more the sun-shy rabble that hangs around.

The scent and touch garden is somewhat hidden and away from the hustle and bustle of the nearby city.
It is a relic of the 1980 State Horticultural Show and is located in the middle of a small, intimate green area on the Kobelgraben, which also has a fern garden and a ball game area to offer.
